Dr. Alexander “Sandy” MacLeod is originally from Massachusetts. He met his wife, Dr. Jennifer MacLeod (a surgeon at VSEC) in Philadelphia during his internship. They have two rambunctious sons, Liam and Arran, who keep them busy outside of work and provide entertainment and/or fatigue. They also live with a German Shepherd (Gerda), a mini Dachshund (The Geck) and two cats (Olive and Lance).  When he's not chasing the kids, Sandy enjoys cooking (especially grilling), reading and running.
