After completing his residency, Dr. Ian Brett Spiegel started and directed the dermatology and allergy service for 5.5 at a large specialty and emergency hospital in NJ. Aside from his clinical duties, Dr. Spiegel is a consultant for The Veterinary Information Network (VIN), the oldest and largest online medical information service devoted to veterinary medicine. In addition, Dr. Spiegel serves as an expert in the field of dermatology and allergy for Veterinary Medicine, a well-respected and peer reviewed journal that offers veterinary professionals an all-inclusive resource for up-to-date clinical information on preventing, diagnosing, and treating disorders. Dr. Spiegel is also a consultant for PetRaysTM, a leading company for veterinary telemedicine consulting. This service is designed to help veterinarians improve the speed and quality of animal health care.
Dr. Spiegel lives with his wonderful wife and two children. The family has two cats and a dog. They enjoy the outdoors, New York City, helping animals, and traveling. Dr. Spiegel’s interests include cooking, music, playing with his two children, movies, exercising, and some sports. By default, he is a fan of Thomas the Tank Engine, Yo Gabba Gabba, and Olivia the pig. Dr. Spiegel was born and raised in this area and is excited to be back in the Philadelphia area.
