Education:

  • Graduated University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine
  • Completed one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City
  • Completed one-year internship in neurology and neurosurgery at the University of Georgia
  • Completed three-year residency in small animal surgery at the University of Pennsylvania
  • Passed ACVS credentialing exam for board-certification in surgery

Dr. MacLeod lives with her husband Dr. Sandy MacLeod (a radiologist at VSEC). They have two sons, Liam and Arran, in addition to a crazy German Shepherd (Gerda), a Dachshund (The Geck), a 26-pound cat (Lance) and a 3-legged cat (Olive). Dr. MacLeod enjoys reading and jogging when she has spare time.
