We are 10 minutes from Trenton and 30 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. Our practice operates 24-hours/7 days a week, including holidays, with a high volume of patients.

The Client Service Representative (CSR) is a key member of our team responsible for promoting a friendly and professional environment where emphasis is placed on compassion, quality, integrity and service. The CSR has one of the most important and most challenging jobs. The impression you make is a lasting one that can shape a client's entire view of the practice.

Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center welcomes participation from veterinary students from all accredited veterinary colleges in the form of a clinical externship.
The duration of the clinical externships are flexible but generally range from 2-12 weeks depending on the type of externship program and accredited veterinary college requirements for individual students. Externs are responsible for all personal expenses including housing, travel, transportation and food. If requested, recommendations for housing can be made. Summer employment externs will be offered a stipend. Externship programs should be arranged at least 3 months in advance of the requested start date.
Any veterinary student in good academic standing from an accredited college of veterinary medicine is eligible for an externship. Clinical externships are offered for students during their rotating clinical year(s) and summer employment externships are offered for freshman and sophomore veterinary students.

The application should include a current curriculum vitae and information regarding the type, duration and preferred schedule for the externship.
If an applicant is requesting a clinical externship during their junior or senior year, a letter indicating approval of the externship from the applicant’s veterinary college should also be included. If an applicant is requesting a summer externship of employment, letters of approval are not required.
Once an invitation for a clinical externship is extended, the student is responsible for appropriate enrollment for their college. A faculty member from the veterinary college of origin should be designated as responsible for the conduct of the extern. Student externs are required to have their own health insurance.
Clinical externs are responsible for all personal expenses including housing, travel, transportation and food. If requested, recommendations for housing can be made.
