3/15/2018 – Scratching the Surface: Diagnosis and Management of Cornea Ulcers
This lecture will focus on properly diagnosing and classifying corneal ulcers as simple, infected, or indolent. The most common underlying causes of corneal ulcers will be reviewed. Treatment of the corneal ulcer based upon its classification will be presented, including proper medication choices, specialized therapies for non-healing ulcers, and surgery for deep / ruptured ulcers.
